Melody Jacobs

 I have been grooming for over 44 years. I started when I was 16 and attended The Academy of Professional Dog Grooming, in Westminster, California. My passion for animals has been distilled in me ever since I was a little girl. I owned and operated many shops in Palm Springs, California. During that time, I was the groomer for many well known pets and celebrities, such as Paul Burks (actor from Twelve O'Clock High).  I worked for the ASPCA in California, from which I learned medical conditions for cats and dogs. Other than grooming, I ran a horse rescue with my late husband. I still till this day help rescue them. For the past 30 years, I have bred, raised and owned German Shepherds. I have built my career on helping with difficult animals, I am known as the Dog Whisperer.
